This award recognises a chef who showcases an enthusiasm and commitment to ensuring good nutrition and hydration through well balanced and tasty meals. A professional who can demonstrate the value of mealtimes for a person’s wellbeing and provides a person centred approach to catering for a variety of needs.

This award recognises maintenance, housekeeping, administration and other auxiliary staff who go above and beyond in their job role and are person centred through and through. An individual or team who support their care colleagues and make a real impact to the lives of residents.

This recognises a special individual who spreads joy and happiness amongst their colleagues and residents.  This person will have a unique infectious enthusiasm and will go above and beyond to ensure the wellbeing and happiness of colleagues and residents.  

This award recognises HR teams or individuals who have successfully implemented people strategies which has directly contributed to the care service’s goals. A creation of a people culture where employees issues are at the forefront of key business decisions. Wellbeing at work strategies must also be evidenced.

This award recognises team or individuals who have demonstrated an innovative approach to identifying training needs and delivering content and techniques. The workforce development programme will have demonstrated an incredible impact on the quality of care provision and staff developmental and retention.

This award recognises outstanding excellence in the field of architectural, interior and exterior design.  Evidence of incorporating both newly built properties and regenerative projects on improving existing homes and how such projects have maximised the residents’ quality of life and has enhanced visitor experience.

A clear understanding of best practice techniques that have improved life of residents and their families should be evidenced.

This award recognises amazing activity organisers and teams who go above and beyond in providing a meaningful and person centred activities programme.  Judges will be looking for energy, creativity and passion. Examples of community integration and intergenerational activities will also be welcomed.

This award recognises an exceptional nurse who delivers outstanding care.  A nurse who demonstrates the values as well as the skills needed to provide person centred care in a care home setting.

This award is for executive leaders within the home care sector. The winning executive leader will have demonstrated outstanding leadership and excellence through their contribution and dedication in the delivery of home care services and their staff teams.

This award recognises the best advertising, marketing, promotion and communication campaigns on and across all media platforms. The award honours marketing teams or individuals who have helped the organisations’ delivery of care services to thrive and grow.

This award recognises individuals and teams that have channelled innovation and bottom line contribution through enhanced recruitment and improved retention. This award will honour teams who have evidenced exceptional employee motivation and high quality recruitment, responsive to the needs of the employer and the residents.

The award recognises an individual, team or organisation that have used technology to improve the wellbeing and safety of residents.  An innovative approach that ties in with the overall strategy of delivering outstanding person centred care should be evidenced. 

This award will recognise an inspirational and exceptional person who has made a sustained and outstanding contribution to improving the lives of others through the delivery of care home  services.
